Privacy & Cookies
AeroSim (AEROSIM - FLUIDSIM SOFTWARE LTDA) respects your privacy. This page explains the third-party analytics and CRM tools we use on aerosim.io and docs.aerosim.io, what they collect, and how you can control them. These tools are non-essential and only load after you accept them in the cookie banner.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is AEROSIM - FLUIDSIM SOFTWARE LTDA (CNPJ 41.534.456/0001-19), established in Brazil. For any question about this notice or your personal data, or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected]. We have not appointed a dedicated Data Protection Officer; privacy requests are handled directly by our team at that address.
Tools we use (only after your consent)
Understand how visitors navigate the site so we can improve it - pageviews, outbound-link clicks and file downloads.
Collects: The pages you view, outbound-link and download clicks, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We store an anonymous identifier in your browser's local storage (no PostHog cookie), and we do not run session recording, autocapture, or cross-site advertising profiles.
Recognize the organization a visitor comes from - via IP-address matching - so our team can follow up on genuine interest.
Collects: Your IP address (matched against Apollo's database to identify the visiting company, not you individually), the pages you view, and cookies / identifiers set by Apollo. It does not capture your name or email from your visit.
Legal basis
We rely on your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) for visitors in the EU, and LGPD Art. 7(I) / Art. 11 for visitors in Brazil). Nothing loads or collects data until you accept; if you reject, these tools are never initialized. Accepting is entirely optional - the site works fully either way - and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
International data transfers
PostHog and Apollo.io are operated from the United States, so if you accept, the data described above is transferred to and processed in the US. For this transfer we rely on the data processing terms offered by each provider, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where they apply to transfers out of the EU and Brazil.
How long we keep the data
We keep the analytics and CRM data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, after which it is deleted or anonymized; you can ask us to delete your data at any time (see your rights below). Your consent choice itself is stored on your device for up to one year, or until you change it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (EU) and the LGPD (Brazil) you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data, or to anonymize or block it;
- restrict or object to processing, and ask for portability of your data;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out before the withdrawal;
- confirm whether we process your data and learn with whom it has been shared.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We respond within the time limits set by law (for example, 15 days under the LGPD).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Brazil, the ANPD (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, gov.br/anpd); in the EU/EEA, your local supervisory authority.
Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your decision at any time using the link in the site footer, which re-opens the consent banner. Withdrawing is as easy as accepting was. Your choice is stored on your device.
