AeroSim was founded to make high-fidelity wind engineering accessible, fast, and trustworthy - bringing together academic research, software, and consulting.
Our story
How we started
AeroSim has academic roots: the realization that high-fidelity wind simulations for the built environment were slow, expensive, and hard to set up reliably.
To fix that, we built a GPU-accelerated CFD solver based on the Lattice-Boltzmann method (LBM) with LES, able to run realistic simulations in hours, not weeks.
Today we pair that solver with best-practice guidelines, specialized consulting, and training and outreach - bringing computational wind engineering (CWE) to industry and academia.
